has the guy you bought them from quoted you for postage?.

yes, better: no, you are not wrong: I´m searching a cheeper way: The seller quoted for shipping/posting, I thinks it´s not quit cheep. But he prefers local pick up because of some reasons...

Some friends maybe could bring them along in August, but it´s not sure actually because of kinds and stuff

So, the guy will send me the item to Germany. The costs for shipping are cheeper meanwhile, and I didn´t want to wait too long (til August), til nobody probably could remember that it´s mine...
