Hi folks,

spezial question for british sidecar specialists:
Does anybaody know, from wich car or maybe trailer the hub or the whole suspension unit of a Squire Original (~1970) is? I gess, the manufactors didn´t create a special one. First of all I thougt it was from a Mini, but meanwhile I´m not shure anymore. Maybe its from a trailer.
Just bought a Minilite rim, but this does not fit because of non fitting hub-diameters.

Regards

Hi

The hub will be for a trailer wheel, best option is to get an Engineer to make a new axle to take standard modern hub for the wheel you can get easily. Complete trailer hubs and axles are quite cheap and easy to get (in the UK). Mini 10 inch wheels are not so common any more.
