Yeahh! Now or never!

In 1962 my father joined the first dragon rally with his BMW R60 with Steib sidecar. And now, 52 years later I can try to do the same raid! Unbelievable! The weekend fits perfect to the "Altes Elefantentreffen" one weekend later, so I can get both Rallys! Great!. The Bike is ready, the sidecar in preparation, and will be finished roughly in October. Holiday plannings for 2014 are still open. So...Up to now no reasons, why I shouldn´t go there, and accept to honour my dads legacy....!

Schorpi? Jens? Claus? Curd?

What about the ferry? Hoek van Holland to Hull? (Starts around 380 Euros for both directions! Even cheaper if we stay longer than 5 days!) And are there any rooms available for the time before and after the Rally? Is there still space in the cottage, schorpi had joined the last time? (He was very exited)
Oh.... so many questions.....

....And I could get one of the best Burgers in Europe...Direct on the way to the castle. 200km from Hull and just 74 km to Conwy castle. Perfect location for a lunch break:

Who will stay in the cottage,
there are 6 bedrooms,3 are twin =6 sharing 3 are king =3, if everyone doesn't mind sharing there is room for 12 this brings the cost down dramatically.
The cost is £700, that split between 6 rooms is about £117 pounds, split that again if you don't mind sharing its £58.50 for a weeks accommodation,cheap!!

I would leave on Tuesday morning to get the ferry tuesday evening, due to I have to pick up my wife for the Altes Elefantentreffen.

Für uns ist das sicher O.K.! Die Frage ist, ob das für die Dame o.k. ist...! Weiss sie wirklich, was da so alles passiert?

BTW....bei meinem ersten Forumstreffen im Sauerland habe ich die Ausfahrt in Peter's Enduroseitenwagen mitgefahren.
Es war einfach Klasse-denke ich immer noch gerne zurück ...und an den Erdferkelbraten
..was ist mit dem Herbsttreffen im Celler Land-da kannst du alle Dragonfahrer persönlich kennen lernen...
